Rain And Wind Causes Power Outages

November 30, 2011
By
Heavy rain for most of the day and into the evening yesterday, along with strong winds left a number of St. Clair County residents without power – power outages continue this morning, however DTE Energy reports that the majority of customers should have their power restored today.  Now, as you look outdoors in these early hours, you will see that the rain has changed over to snow; the first real snowfall of the season here in the Blue Water Area.  Officials are saying roads vary from wet to snow covered and slippery.  Overpasses can be icy as well.   Be sure to drive with caution – slow down those speeds and leave plenty of room between you and the car in front of you.
