United Way of St. Clair County Hopes To Reach Goal

Lonnie Stevens, executive director of the United Way of St. Clair County, said the United Way hopes to reach its goal of $1,450,000 for the first time in three years. The campaign, which began in September is at 70% of its goal.  The United Way works with 18 agencies and supports about 50 programs in the area.  The ampaign runs through the end of the year, but accepts donations and pledges ear round.
