Wing Thiele, a resident of the city of Port Huron has resigned from her position on the Blue Water Fest Advisory Board.
Thiele served as a spokesperson and advocate for the area’s non-profits and local merchants and vendors in relationship to the annual Festival. She headed up a group that worked to raise funds for next year’s event and served on the board that will oversee the festival. She stated that the advisory board were spending more time on conflicts between herself and another member of the
advisory board than they were spending on festival planning, so, she felt it was better to remove herself. Two other members of the advisory board, Nancy Winzer and Rob Richards have submitted their resignations as well.
