3rd Annual New to You Toy Event

The Great Start Parent Coalition would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the community.  The outpouring of gently used and new toys donated to the New 2 You toy event, provided 67 families and 210 children with toys for Christmas.  This event could not have been accomplished without the help of businesses and schools who held the donation boxes and the community that donated the toys.  Many volunteers collected and cleaned the toys and the Michigan Dept of Community Health tested each for lead.  We are very proud to be working in such a caring and giving community.  Special thanks to the Sandusky High School Student Council and United Way for donating over 600 toys to the event.  Enjoy a safe and happy holiday season with the knowledge that you gave joy to so many…
