Accident Causes Road Closure

An accident on State Road last evening closed the roadway for about an hour.  One person was transported to a local hospital while two others sought their own treatment …all with non-life threatening injures after a car rear-ended a tractor hauling a manure spreader. The accident occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. in the 5400 block of State Road, south of Brace.  The tractor is reported to have been properly lighted and had a slow-moving vehicle triangle on the back.  While the roadway was able to be reopened to traffic at about 8:30 there was still considerable cleanup for crews to complete.
