SC4 Friends Of The Arts Brunches Raise $1,250

The Friends of the Arts organization at St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron raised about $1,250 through its annual Sunday brunch fundraiser in November.  Tickets were sold for a buffet brunch at the River Crab Restaurant in St. Clair Township for any Sunday in November. Tickets cost the same as the menu price, and the River Crab donated $6 from each ticket sale to Friends of the Arts to support various arts programs at the college.  Programs that will benefit include SC4’s monthly free Thursday at Noon Concert Series, SC4 Symphonic Band, theatre productions and Patterns, a magazine that showcases student visual art and creative writing.  For Friends of the Arts membership information, call (810) 989-5508.
