January 5, 2012
By

The 2012 Winter Programs are heating up through the Port Huron Recreation Department and this session, Port Huron and Clyde Townships have joined Fort Gratiot Township in offering its residents, the resident of Port Huron price.  According to Nancy Winzer, director, the programs and classes are available to everyone; last year Fort Gratiot partnered with the city, and now two more townships have joined in, allowing for those residents to take advantage of the lower fees.  There are several programs available at no charge.  A complete listing of the winter session programs may be found at www.porthuron.org or you may stop by the Rec Center at 2829 Armour Street from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday to pick up a brochure and to register for classes and programs.
