Are you interested in learning why compost matters, what ingredients and inputs it takes to prepare an effective compost pile and what are some of the uses for finished compost?  Come and join us for this FREE lecture!  You will learn why the St. Clair County environment where we live, work and eat is directly benefited from the utilization of composting practices in gardening.  The St. Clair County Chapter of the Michigan Master Gardener Association presents, “Composting” by Master Gardener Barb DeSalvio on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 7-8 pm in the Dodge Auditorium, 200 Grand River Avenue, Port Huron, Michigan 48060.
