A 62 year-old Grant Township man will be spending the next 9 to 10 years in prison for opening fire on St. Clair County sheriff deputies last spring.  William Farrington was sentenced by Judge Daniel Kelly Tuesday afternoon. A jury  had found Farrington guilty on several counts stemming from the April 9 incident.   Deputies had been called to the Farrington residence after receiving a report of an assault on a woman. Officials said the man fired at least two shots before barricading himself in a shed.
