Body of Woman Found In River Identified

The body of the woman found Wednesday morning in the St. Clair River has been identified.  According to St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon, 46 year old Heidi Loznak was discovered by deputies investigating a missing person report called in by her husband.  Deputies searched the area near her home in the 1100 block of River Road in St. Clair Township and found her body floating in the river a couple of houses down from her address.  An autopsy was conducted yesterday by St. Clair County Medical Examiner Dr. Daniel Spitz.  No signs of physical assault were observed.  Determination of cause and manner of death will be pending toxicology reports.
