Police are investigating an armed robbery and home invasion that occurred early Friday morning in Port Huron. It is reported that the incident occurred shortly after midnight when a 26-year-old man from Port Huron kicked in the back door of a home on the 2000 block of Minnie Street. The suspect then forced the victim — a 61-year-old Port Huron man — by knifepoint to an ATM to retrieve cash. The victim and suspect were acquainted. The suspect had fled by the time Port Huron police officers responded to the suspect’s address.
