A 59-year-old Croswell man was charged with felonious assault after he threatened to assault his 61-year-old girlfriend with a bat. It is reported that the man became violent after the couple began arguing in the 200 block of Croswell Road. Damage to the property was reported as well. The man was arrested and taken into custody. Arraignment was expected to take place in Sanilac County District Court.
