Ribbon Cutting Today

The Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce ambassadors will hold its third ceremonial ribbon cutting of 2012 on Thursday, February 9, 12:15 p.m., at Liberty Tax Service, 533 10th Street, Port Huron.   An open house will be held from Noon – 2 p.m. and the public is welcome to attend.  Refreshments will be provided.  Liberty Tax Service is offering chamber members a 25% discount on tax preparation now through April 15, 2012, at their Port Huron or Fort Gratiot locations.  The chamber held thirteen ribbon cuttings in 2011, double that of 2010, and 80% were held in the City of Port Huron.   Entrepreneurs who plan to open a business in the greater Port Huron or Marysville area may call the chamber, (810) 985-7101 to discuss membership and ribbon cutting facilitation.
