A 21-year-old Port Huron man is facing felony charges after his arrest about 7:15 a.m. yesterday in Lapeer County following a police chase on Interstate 69.  The suspect is being  charged with unlawfully driving away an automobile and receiving/concealing stolen property, both of which are five-year felony charges.  Arraignment is expected to take place today and the man is currently in police custody.  It is also reported that the suspect has a number of  outstanding charges outside of St. Clair County.  Port Huron police had received a report of a stolen vehicle about an hour before the arrest, from a  man living in the 1500 block of Stone Street in Port Huron.   The key for the car  which was parked in the parking lot of the adjacent Palm’s Krystal Bar & Grill at 1535 Pine Grove Ave. was missing from his home and Police are investigating possible home invasion charges in the incident.  It is reported that the victim does not know the suspect.  The suspect allegedly stole about $15 of gasoline from a gas station in Capac, and was arrested as he was traveling westbound I-69 in Lapeer Township after a short chase.
