According to Chief Executive Officer of the St. Clair County Economic Development Alliance, a company based in Auburn Hills is its business into the Blue Water Area. Hirotec America Inc. which manufactures vehicle doors and door mechanisms is leasing buildings in Port Huron’s industrial park as well as in Chesterfield Township. They plan to be operating by May or June of this year. According to Casey, the company will be hiring for between 90 and 120 new jobs in a variety of positions. Hirotec America is owned by Japanese investors.
