Spirit of Port Huron Awards Presented

Last night at McMorran, City Council presented the Spirit of Port Huron Awards.  A great crowd met to honor those people in our community, who over the years have contributed in special ways.  Seven awards were given, including, Brotherhood to Reverend Alex Crittenden; Civic to Jacquelyn Hanton; Cultural to Lee Jones; Economic Progress to Earl Smith Distributing Co.; Good Neighbor to Donald Lee, Youth Service to Nithin Tumma and Lifetime Achievement to Carolyn Crowe.  Mayor Pauline Repp stated the “council sees that there are many in our community that have contributed great things to the City of Port Huron and the Spirit of Port Huron Awards is one way to recognizes what the citizens do to make our City a better place.”
