A wine and cheese reception, which is open to the public is being held this Friday from 6 to 9 pm at Studio 1219 for the opening of “Bill Tucker: A Realist’s Retrospective.” This art show may be seen in the Chase and Van Gogh galleries at the Studio featuring Port Huron artist Bill Tucker. Tucker has worked for years at a commercial sign company – and has opened his own studio. His paintings, found in homes and businesses across America demonstrates detail and realism. The show runs through April 7, and showcases the past 30 years. Studio 1219 is located at 1219 Military St, in Port Huron. Gallery hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 11 am to 6 pm, and Fridays 11 am to 8 pm. The Studio is closed Sundays and Mondays until spring.
