St. Clair Pharmacy and Sav-Mor Drug stores are holding a charitable event from 9 a.m. this morning until 7 p.m. tonight for Port Huron Fire Department Lt. Kevin Anderson. The fifty-two year old Anderson was diagnosed with Stage 4 oral pharyngeal cancer in November. Donations will be collected all day to assist Anderson and his family with treatment-related expenses at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. St. Clair Sav-Mor Pharmacy is located at 201 North Riverside Avenue and the business will be offering special sale prices throughout the day on certain items for customers who make a donation. Store owner Scot Sheldon is committing a $1,000 match to customer donations. St. Clair Mayor Bill Cedar is expected to be in attendance to help kick off the event this morning at the store at 9:15 a.m.
