Just this week, a six month long investigation into methamphetamine activity in the Blue Water Area led to the arrest of some 37 people by The St. Clair County Drug Task Force and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration. Investigation continued yesterday into a possible meth lab in the 4900 block of Griswold Road in Kimball Township. Authorities say they are searching for a 38-year-old man in connection with the incident. This residence was not a part of the original investigation conducted Tuesday, but is part of the ongoing investigation into methamphetamine activity in St. Clair County. The Drug Task Force said officers discovered components of a methamphetamine lab as well as firearms at the residence. Also confiscated was what they believe to be cocaine and about a dozen firearms from the scene. Officers from the DEA and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources assisted in the investigation.
