Port Huron police took four men in for questioning last night in connection with a shots fired incident about 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the 1200 block of Howard Street in Port Huron. Officers say they recovered a number of shell casings from the street and a front yard. As of last night the search continued for additional suspects and a gold Lincoln sedan in connection with the incident. The neighborhood around the area, 12th, Wall, 14th and Gillett streets was locked down for about two hours as police worked to make contact with suspects that reportedly ran from the scene to a home on 13th Street between Howard and Pine streets. About 6:10 p.m. seven people exited the 13th Street residence, which included a teenager and a younger child. Witnesses from the scene told WGRT they saw four shots fired into a vehicle from a group of men standing in the middle of Howard Street. Some of the suspects brought in for questioning had outstanding warrants. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident and investigation continues.
