Two 25-year-old Port Huron residents were taken into police custody Sunday night after police said they allegedly entered Holland Woods Middle School through an unlocked door. Officers responded to the school shortly before 11 p.m. after an alarm sounded. Upon arrival, officers found two people running from the school, one in a vehicle and on foot into a wooded area. Officers took the license plate information of the car before the suspects left the area and later found that person at their home. The name of the second suspect was discovered during the investigation and he was later arrested. It is still being determined as to whether or not anything was stolen from the building. The suspects were released pending further investigation.
