A young girl remains in Port Huron Hospital this morning with what authorities are calling non-life-threatening injuries, after being hit by a car while she was riding her bike at about 7:00 p.m. yesterday. The 9-year-old was apparently riding westbound across 10th Avenue at Palmer Court when she quickly pulled out in front of a PT Cruiser southbound on 10th. When police officers arrived at the scene, the child was lying in the street next to her bicycle, which had ended up in the northbound lane of 10th Avenue. She was conscious and talking at the scene. The male driver of the PT Cruiser is not currently facing charges. The incident remains under investigation
