Recall Effort Ends – Senator Pavlov Says He was Sent To Lansing To Make Changes And That Is What They Are Doing

Senator Phil Pavlov

An effort to recall state Sen. Phil Pavlov has ended.  While the number of signatures collected has not been reported, the leaders of the recall say they failed to collect the number needed to put forth a recall.  While opponents say they will continue to make their voices heard against him, Senator Pavlov says he will continue to do the work that he was elected to do.  He says the people asked for change, and that is what he is offering.  He stated “ any time you try to make changes in the education field, you run up against opposition”  Pavlov told WGRT that he didn’t run to repeat the stale policies of the past decade,  Michigan needed change and that is what he was sent to Lansing to do.  He says there are more steps ahead for the change in Michigan’s education .
