Vehicular Accident Causes One Death

An 86-year-old Clarkston man was pronounced dead at the scene after the car in which he was driving hit a tree and overturned in a ditch on Range Road yesterday.  It is reported that the man was  heading north on Range Road when he went off the road, hit a tree and overturned in a ditch just before Howard Street.  St. Clair County Sheriff Department says they are not sure of what caused the man to leave the roadway.  Range Road at Lapeer Road and Griswold Road were closed for several hours as investigation continued.
