Our cemeteries are sacred locations deserving the highest respect of our community. Port Huron Cemeteries Clean Sweep will be an annual event to clean debris, leaves and fallen tree branches from the grounds of the various cemetery locations. The planning and logistics of the event is being organized and sponsored by James Relken, owner of James A. Relken Companies. The launch for the first year will be for Lakeside Cemetery, Mount Hope Cemetery and Allied Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Meet at any of these three cemeteries at 8:00 a.m. Saturday and noon on Sunday, May 5th and 6th – bring along your gloves, rakes, lawn bags, etc… A 24 hour call center (810-985-1199) is available to answer questions and direct interested individuals and groups to the website and the planning details. The event takes place rain or shine
