St. Clair County Community College’s Spiral Gallery at Studio 1219 in Port Huron is featuring the work of SC4 student Elizabeth Ullenbruch of Port Huron now through May 30. The show will feature functional ceramic pieces, including mugs, bowls, baking dishes, plates and casserole dishes. Also shown will be decorative pieces, including wall pockets, planters and strawberry pots. A show opening is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 11. Ullenbruch also will be featured as an “SC4 Artist in Action” from 5 to 7 p.m. each Friday in May. The “SC4 Artist in Action” takes place in the first-floor display window of Studio 1219. Studio visitors will be able to watch Ullenbruch work and talk about art. Each month, the work of an SC4 art instructor or alumni artist is featured in the Spiral Gallery. Studio 1219 hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday; 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday; and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
