Sheriff Looking Into Fire

Deputies with the St. Clair County Sheriff Department are investigating a fire at the Mt. Pleasant Bible Church, 1530 Emerson Road, that occurred shortly before 5 p.m. Friday. Rescue crews that responded to the scene found two broken windows and ceiling tiles and curtains smoldering. The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported.
