Governor In Town Today

Governor Rick Snyder will be in town today.  The Governor will speak at a public town hall beginning at 2:30 p.m. at the McMorran Arena on McMorran Blvd. in Port Huron.  State Senator Phil Pavlov says this is a great opportunity for our community to show Governor Snyder how the Blue Water Area is leading Michigan’s reinvention, with the Blue Water Chamber of Commerce and the Blue Meets Green economic development initiative.  Vickie Ledsworth of the Chamber says the new restaurants, lofts and activities will be impressive for the governor to see.  Pavlov along with the governor are looking forward to hearing questions and concerns at the Town Hall.  The public is invited to join the meeting at 2:30 p.m.  there is no cost to attend.
