“Dream Big-READ!” is this year’s summer reading club theme for children. From June 18th to August 11th, all eleven branches of the St. Clair County Library System will be hosting events and programs centered on this theme to keep your children reading and learning all summer long. It’s easy to get started! Kids in preschool – fifth grade can pick up a reading log at any branch of the St. Clair County Library System beginning June 18. Participants will receive prizes for signing up and reading in 2 hour increments up to 8 hours. Kids can continue to read after the initial 8 hours and will receive a drawing slip for special prizes. Enjoy a fabulous summer of exciting programs, great books and fun prizes @ your local library! The 2012 Summer Reading Program also has reading clubs for teens and adults featuring programs, prizes & fun! These run June 18 – August 11. Stop by your local branch to get the details!
