Two people, including a small child, were killed and four others were injured in crash Monday night in Shelby Township. Police say the accident happened around 8:45 p.m. when a woman in an Oldsmobile traveling westbound on 23 Mile Road crashed into a minivan headed south on Hayes. The minivan was carrying a family of six including the parents and four children. A 3-year-old child pronounced dead a short time later at a local hospital. The driver of the Oldsmobile, who was traveling alone, also died. Her age was not released. There were no details immediately available about the four people who were injured. Traffic investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the accident.
