St. Clair County Community Mental Health will host a brown bag lunch workshop titled “The Benefits of Animal Therapy & Service Animals” on Thursday, July 10th from noon – 1:00 p.m. at 3111 Electric Avenue in Port Huron. This workshop will detail the benefits that Animal Assisted Therapy Dogs can provide in improving overall health for individuals in nursing homes. This event is free and open to the public.
