Investigation Continues In Shooting

The Port Huron Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred late Thursday at approximately 11:40pm in the 3100 block of Electric Avenue. The victim, Antonio Billy age 26 of Port Huron, was shot once in the back after a brief conflict with 2 other subjects in the area.  The injury to Billy was not life threatening and the victim was uncooperative with the investigation. Police were notified of the incident after the victim showed up at Mercy Hospital for treatment. No calls to 911 were received regarding the shooting.  Police are looking for two persons of interest in the shooting; however their names are not being released at this time pending further investigation. The shooting is believed to be related to the murder of Jason Mychal Williams age 23 of Port Huron, who was shot to death in the same complex on June 15, 2012.  Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to call CAPTURE at 810-987-6688.  The investigation has been turned over to the Port Huron Police/ St. Clair County Sheriff Major Crimes Unit.
