Woman Found – Returned To Residence

U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers (CBPO) at the Marine City Ferry Crossing assisted a Marine City resident who was missing since Saturday, June 23, 2012. On Monday morning, June 25, 2012, a woman entered the Marine City office and was unaware of her name and whereabouts. CBP Officers gave the woman food and water and contacted the Marine City Police Department.  Marine City Police were dispatched and worked with CBP to identify the woman and locate her address. Officers later discovered that she had been reported missing for two days and was not taking her prescribed medication. “Our officers’ dedication to helping this woman shows that, with vigilance and service, we are available to assist our local community,” said Port Director David Dusellier.  Emergency Medical Services arrived at the port of entry and transported the woman to a local hospital for treatment.
