7-Year-Old Drowns In Lake Huron

According to Port Huron police, a 7-year-old boy was  pronounced dead at Port Huron Hospital last evening after being pulled from Lake Huron.  Rescue crews responded to the scene at Lakeside Beach off Gratiot Avenue shortly before 7:15 p.m. to the reports of a missing boy.  The St. Clair County Dive Team were beginning to search the water when a person on a Jet Ski found the boy shortly before 7:40 p.m., according to the Port Huron Fire Department.
