Sailboats are lining along the Black River – and the chairs are showing up along the roadways as Port Huron moves into a very busy week. Tonight, is the Rotary International Day parade which kicks off at 6:30 – and prior to that is a fundraiser run down Main Street, with proceeds going to benefit Safe Horizons…The carnival at Vantage Point opens, and the fun will continue tomorrow with Family night and a street party hosted by the Parrot Heads with Air Margaritaville providing the entertainment. Friday night is boat night – where you can walk along the riverfront and view the 233 sailboats that will be competing the in Port Huron to Mackinac Sailboat race which begins Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon, stages continues hosting music for all tastes, and the 9:00 lighted boat parade. Sunday the Blue Water Fest finishes up with the carnival throughout the day and fireworks at Desmond Landing.
