A 30-year-old Detroit man is expected to face charges after police said he stabbed a 17-year-old Port Huron boy shortly after 12:30 a.m. Saturday during Boat Night festivities in downtown Port Huron. Port Huron Police report that the man and the boy had an altercation near the 500 block of Quay Street. When the boy turned to walk away, the man stabbed him in the back, puncturing his lung. Police saw the incident and caught the fleeing man. The boy was treated at Port Huron Hospital for his injuries. The man is being held at the St. Clair County jail. He is expected to be arraigned Monday. Including the stabbing suspect, police arrested 20 people during Boat Night in downtown Port Huron according to Police.
