A 30-year-old Detroit man was arraigned Monday for a stabbing that occurred in the early hours Saturday, during Boat Night. Marcelle Kohchise Jackson stood mute when charged with assault with intent to murder. Police say Jackson stabbed a 17-year-old Port Huron boy shortly after 12:30 a.m. Saturday after an altercation near the 500 block of Quay Street. Bond was set at $500,000 and a no-contact order with the victim also was issued. A preliminary hearing was set for 1:30 p.m. July 24 in Judge Cynthia Platzer’s courtroom.
