Residents are invited to Learn more about the American Cancer SocietyMaking Strides Against Breast Cancer of St. Clair County walk by taking a step in the right direction toward finding a cure for breast cancer and celebrating more birthdays. The American Cancer Society is hosting a Kickoff on August 14, 2012 at 6:00 PM for area residents interested in forming a team to walk in the event. Although the St. Clair County walk will not take place until October 13, 2012 it is never too early to start getting involved. All proceeds from the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk will benefit breast cancer research as well as local breast cancer education and patient programs and services.
