Blue Water Volleygrass Festival

In its 21st exciting year, the Blue Water Volleygrass Festival gets underway this weekend in Marysville.  The 4-on-4 tournament will be playing at the Marysille City Park (back by popular demand), just down the street from the new Marysville High School.  Plenty of parking, seating, music and volleyball will be available. Blue Water Volleygrass Inc. raises funds for local school sports youth programs. The Marysville All-Sports Booster Club is the one of the main beneficiaries of the event financially but the community and the surrounding areas are the real winners. The tournament will include a co-ed division on Friday evening. Saturday and Sunday are dedicated the pool play and playoff rounds for the Mens, Womens and Girls divisions. All teams will enter into Sunday’s playoff rounds seeded into a division.   Over 200 teams play annually in this event.  Event begins with registration at 4:00 p.m. – play at 5:00 p.m. today.  8:00 a.m. Registration Saturday, play begins at 9:00 a.m.
