Final Casting Call for Port Huron Lip Dub

The Port Huron Lip Dub committee is looking for thousands of extras to participate in the filming of the Port Huron Lip Dub. A lip dub is a type of video that combines lip synching and audio dubbing to make a music video. The filming will take place on Sunday, August 5. Songs to be used are Neil Diamond’s “America” and Lovin’ Spoonful’s “Summer in the City.” The first segment will be along the Thomas Edison Parkway between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. This section will feature various groups and individuals. The second segment will be filmed between 3:30 and 4:30 from the Military Street Bridge to the Maritime Center. The committee is asking for anyone interested in participating to recruit friends and family to be part of the finale shot. There is no need to sign up to be a part of the finale.
