Sponsors are needed for Chafty Memorial Golf Outing

St. Joseph Mercy Foundation looking for sponsors to help out with the Thirty-Second Annual Mercy ~ Chafty Memorial Golf Outing. It is the largest fundraiser that goes to support special projects of the award-winning Mercy Regional Cancer Center and the Peoples’ Clinic for Better Health, according to Tom Goldenbogen, chairman of the Golf Outing Committee. The Peoples’ Clinic is cosponsored by the St. Clair County Medical Society and St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron, and is funded in part by the United Way of St. Clair County. This year’s event will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at Port Huron Golf Club. It is an 18-hole golf scramble for male, female and mixed foursomes. The event begins with registration at 11:30 a.m., and includes a buffet lunch. Dinner and auction completes the day.
