Preliminary Exam Begins This Week

Testimony began this week in a preliminary examination in front Judge John Monaghan for the fatal shooting of 23 year old Jason Williams on June 15^th of this year.  29 year old John Little of Detroit, was bound over to circuit court on charges of tampering with evidence, accessory after the fact to a felony, possession of a firearm by a felon and committing a felony with a firearm. Monaghan ruled there was not sufficient evidence to bind him over on a charge of unlawful imprisonment.  Cidney Ingram is charged with open murder and felony firearm. The 33-year-old is due back in circuit court at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 10.  Bond was set at $500,000 for Little.
