Woman Dies Following Car Crash

A 66 year old Avoca woman is dead following a two car crash in Fort Gratiot Township yesterday morning.  According to St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon, Carolyn Steele was driving eastbound on Keewahdin Road.  She then turned north onto 24^th Avenue, directly into the path of a vehicle driven by 32 year old Michael Langowski of Kimball Township.  Shortly after the 10:30 a.m. crash, Ms. Steele went into cardiac arrest.  She was transported to Port Huron Hospital by Tri-Hospital EMS where she was pronounced dead.  Neither Langowski nor his passenger, 22 year old Richard Falk of Clyde Township were seriously injured in the crash.  They were treated and released at the scene.  Fort Gratiot Township Fire and Rescue also assisted at the scene of the crash.
