Head On Collision Causes Death

Authorities say driver headed the wrong-way  and another motorist died following a collision on Interstate 96 in Livingston County.  The crash is reported to have occurred Sunday evening in Howell Township.  Reports say an eastbound pickup truck driven by a 64-year-old Fowlerville man crossed the median into the westbound lanes and collided with a car.  Witnesses reported the man had been slumped over his seat. An autopsy was planned.  The people in the car were from the Grand Rapids-area community of Wyoming. The 57-year-old driver and his 49-year-old wife were injured, and an 80-year-old woman died.  The crash was under investigation.
