St. Clair County Community Mental Health announces its most recent Outstanding Team of the Month, The OBRA & Outpatient Services Teams. These employees were recognized for demonstrating high levels of care and compassion for individuals receiving CMH services. Nominations were unanimous in expressing how this team worked together through many unexpected changes, including staff placement, new staff, new assignments and higher caseloads; all met with positivity and professionalism. Staff communicated their worries and concerns with their supervisor, while stating across the board “I’m going to do what needs to be done to help out the people we serve.” Ultimately, the people served are the most affected by these changes and staff have kept their needs primary. The amount of teamwork modeled did not go unnoticed! Nomination guidelines recognize a team for demonstrating “Above and Beyond” a normal job scope such as providing service excellence within a team or with the persons we serve.
