The Lexington Business Association is presenting the 5th year- Margaritafest, a three day event for family fun, music and laughter. They say if you like to party Jimmie Buffet style – Lexington is where you’ll want to be Aug. 23-25!
Thursday, Aug 23. Decorate your golf carts and bikes for a decorating contest in the Village 3-9 PM. Contest starts @ 6:30 PM. Enjoy Neil the Stilt Walker- he’ll juggle, make balloon animals and perform on his unicycle. See Neil’s amazing story of stilt walking across Michigan – Nothing but FUN!
Friday, Aug. 24 Dance in the Lexington Harbor to the popular tunes of Michael & Jerry 7-10 PM. Cheeseburger eating contest. Water melon too! Hoola Hoop Contest. Decorate your boat in the harbor for viewing Saturday night. Wildest Hat Contest 7-10 PM Great & silly prizes. Tierney Park. Bring your craziest ideas, don’t forget your camera!
Sat. Aug. 25 Enjoy the happy sounds of the Happy Mon Band. $1 person (children 10 & under are free) Tierney Park. Margeritafest T’s, flashing glasses, leis and more crazy fun will be available for purchase. View decorated boats in the Harbor. Trolley rides are available thru the surrounding area for $1 per person 4PM to 1AM.
