The body of an elderly man was recovered from Lake Huron Tuesday night, according to a Sarnia Police Service news release. The release states, Sarnia Police along with the Ontario Provincial Police and the Point Edward Fire/Marine Unit responded to a call of a body floating in the water approximately 100 yards off the shore in the Brights Grove area. The man was recovered from the water and pronounced dead on scene about 9:00 p.m. Tuesday. He was transported to Bluewater Health for an autopsy. The cause of death is unknown at this time and the investigation is continuing.
