A 33-year-old Algonac man is facing charges of armed robbery and tampering with evidence after police said he robbed a gas station at knife point and then in order to disguise himself, shaved off his facial hair.  Clay Township Police say the robbery occurred at a Clark gas station in the 5400 block of Pointe Tremble Drive about 7 p.m. Sunday. The suspect is reported to have  jumped the counter of the gas station with a knife and stole about $100 from the cash register. The man was scene on surveillance video footage, and after showing the photos from the video to people in the area, the suspect was identified as Kelly Farrar.  He was arraigned Wednesday and bond was set at $150,000. Farrar is scheduled to return to court for a preliminary examination at 9 a.m. Sept. 12 in front of District Judge Mike Hulewicz.
