A 40-year-old Westland man was arrested on multiple charges Tuesday after being clocked at driving over 95 mph on Interstate 94 with police in pursuit.  According to reports, the incident began about 3 p.m. when the man was driving a car 95 mph on eastbound Interstate 94 at Wadhams Road.  State police chased the car, which accelerated, began weaving in and out of traffic, and reportedly passed vehicles on the shoulder.  The man exited onto Gratiot Avenue, and pulled into a gas station off of Range Road. From there he pulled into a driveway on Gratiot Avenue. When police arrived, the man fled the scene on foot. A Port Huron police canine unit tracked the man and he was arrested shortly after 3:30 p.m.  A number of charges will be filed against the man who was found to have three current warrants from Dearborn.  A woman passenger was arrested for giving false information, and was found to have warrants out for her arrest as well.  The man is being lodged in the St. Clair County Jail.
