Michigan’s tourism development agency has released a video sing-along based on its 50-city road trip which they say will promote the state as a place to visit, live, work and create a business. The video was shot during a one-week, late-August tour. The video opens with two people hopping into a car and speeding off, before cutting to scenes of a parachutist in Mackinaw City, firefighters in a parade in Newberry, and scenes from Marquette, Jackson, Frankenmuth, Detroit and other corners of of the state. Each scene shows people singing parts of “The Pure Michigan Statewide Singalong,” whose lyrics say “it’s always a good time” to be in Michigan. You can see the video by logging on to the WGRT Facebook page.
